The Novartis Shanghai Campus is novartis' new $1 billion r&d facility, which includes world-class research LABS and office facilities. These buildings are powered by a central energy plant and employ state-of-the-art and most innovative systems to meet high requirements for energy efficiency and user comfort.
This project is located in the Energy station of Novartis Pharmaceutical Park, Pudong New District, Shanghai. Two Yanbach J-420 natural gas generator sets are denitrified in single to single medium temperature. Combined with two 8T/h gas-fired boilers, denitrification is conducted at low temperature after low-nitrogen combustion. The initial emission of NOx through the low-nitrogen burner was < 30mg/Nm³. The flue gas of the boiler and the unit were mixed in the low-temperature denitrification area. The secondary REDOX denitrification was carried out using the escaped ammonia gas after denitrification at medium temperature, so that the total exhaust outlet of the flue gas was NOx < 30mg/Nm³.
In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, our company attaches great importance to all kinds of difficulties encountered in the construction, and will mobilize experienced technical engineers to do their best. During the project period, we use the owner of the original HUG denitration reactor, the catalyst for change in temperature, and after the burner of boiler flue increase the low temperature catalyst, through the urea solution, excess injection temperature in the period of denitration using escape ammonia in low-temperature secondary denitration, saves the cost of denitration transformation, and reasonable use of floor space, meet the demand of final discharge. The online commissioning of unit 2 has been completed and the unit continues to operate. The denitrification efficiency meets the design requirements. The original emission of NOx of gas unit is measured on site at 200-350mg/Nm³, and the emission of NOx after denitrification at medium temperature + low temperature is < 30mg/Nm³.
The successful commissioning of the final two 1500KW+8T/h gas-fired boiler denitration project cannot be achieved without the trust and support of the owner unit and manufacturers.
