Oxidizing catalytic converter (DOC) is a device installed in the exhaust pipe of the engine, which converts carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) in the exhaust of the engine into harmless water (H20) and carbon dioxide (CO2) through oxidation reaction. It is an early product of catalytic converter technology. The structure form is basically the same as that of the three-effect catalytic converter, except that the catalyst coating is different, which only has oxidation ability but no reduction ability.

Technical advantages：

Using precious metals such as platinum (Pt) and palladium (Pd) as catalysts, SOF mainly reduces the content of particulate emissions so as to reduce PM emissions. At the same time can effectively reduce the exhaust HC, CO. Oxidation catalysts could remove 90 per cent of SOF, reducing PM emissions by 40 to 50 per cent. The processing efficiency of HC and CO can reach 88% and 68% respectively.
